"Putting Someone Under One's Feet"

In hoodoo/rootwork, the term "putting someone under one's feet", is slang for domination work, and more specifically is a reference to one of the oldest tricks with regard to dominating a person. To perform this trick, one creates a name-paper of the person one wishes to dominate and then places it in one's shoe so that one symbolically "walks on their name". When interacting with the person, and when one wants to assume dominance over that person, one taps the foot with the concealed name-paper while talking to him or her. Of course, if you want a stronger trick, then use a photo of the person you wish to dominate instead of a name-paper. This way you will be symbolically 'walking on their face'!
