Just got back from he convenience store to pick up some Powerball tickets and the line was out the door! Crazy! I'm sue the full moon tonight didn't help matters! LOL Hope someone wins big tonight!

Powerball Fever!!!

If you haven't heard, Powerball is at it's record high of jackpot, a whopping $550 million at the time of this drawing. Someone tonight will likely win half a billion dollars!

If you are going to purchase tickets for tonight's drawing, then please take a look at some of my tips for playing the lottery below.

Lottery Tips

Remember, don't let "lotto fever" trick you into spending a lot of money. The truth is that most jackpot winners won their millions after only spending a few dollars on tickets. There are many cases where jackpot winners have won after buying only ticket. So don't go crazy purchasing tickets because purchasing a lot of tickets will not increase your odds of winning the jackpot.

Wishing all players luck tonight!

Ask Yourself These Questions?

After my grandmother passed I was given some of her books. I found a piece of paper dated January, 2004, with the following questions.

Ask Yourself These Questions?

1.) Does a clean house indicate that there is a broken computer in it?

2.) Why is it that no matter what color of bubble bath you use the bubbles are always white?

3.) Is there ever a day when mattresses are NOT on sale?

4.) Why do people constantly return to the refrigerator with the hopes that something new to eat will have materialized?

5.) On electric toasters, why do they engrave the message 'one slice'? How many pieces of bread do they think people are really gonna try to stuff in that slot?

6.) Why do people keep running over a string a dozen times with their vacuum cleaner, then reach down, pick it up, examine it, then put it down to give their vacuum one more chance?

7.) Why is it that no plastic garbage bag will open from the end you first try?

8.) How do those dead bugs get into closed light fixtures?

9.) Considering all the lint you get in your dryer, if you kept drying your clothes would they eventually just disappear?

10.) When we are in the supermarket and someone rams our ankle with a shopping art then apologizes for doing so, why do we say, "It's all right." It isn't all right, so why don't we say, "That hurt, you stupid idiot!"

11.) Why is it that whenever you attempt to catch something that's falling off the table you always manage to knock something else over?

12.) Is it true that the only difference between a yard sale and a trash pickup is how close to the road the stuff is placed?

13.) In winter, why do we try to keep the house as warm as it was in summer when we complained about the heat?

14.) How come we never hear any father-in-law jokes?

15.) If at first you don't succeed, shouldn't you try doing it like your wife told you to in the first place?

No More HOSTESS!!!!

I'm so depressed! I love Hostess. I can't believe that after 80 years the company is closing. Right now everyone is going gaga over trying to stock up on Twinkies but you can easily purchase the "generic" Twinkies. What I will miss is Ding Dongs, Hostess Orange Cupcakes and the Crumb Donuts. Hell, I grew up on Wonder Bread. I'm so freaked out because I don't know if I will be able to head over to the Hostess store before it closes. I MUST stock up on my crumb donuts! I have yet to find any company that makes crumb donuts anywhere as close to how good Hostess Crumb Donuts are.

As far as the Ding Dongs go, I'm so old that my parents would put a foil wrapped Ding Dong in my school lunch. They stopped wrapping them in foil a long, long time ago. (Ding Dongs are awesome when frozen and then eaten.)

What about those boxes of donuts that come with chocolate, powdered sugar, cinnamon and the plain donuts that nobody eats?  Oh, and what about those iced honey buns....and pies!!!!  The Hostess store would carry some really good Christmas cookies. They also had a wonderful coconut cake. I'm so depressed! Come back, Hostess! What's next, Dolly Madison? The horror!

Edit: Just got back from Wal Mart. They are nearly wiped out. No Twinkies, Ding Dongs, or chocolate cupcakes. All they had left was powdered sugar donuts, chocolate donuts, and strawberry and orange cupcakes. They had one package left of crumb donuts and don't you know it was opened and dried up! LOL I was so pissed. But the interesting thing was that there was so many people coming in looking for Hostess products that we all started talking. I'm pretty sure that people are going to be selling boxes of Twinkies on EBay! I bet people will pay a lot of money for them too.

Skull, jawbone in Oxnard trash bin may be just old religious shrine

Here is the news story I was interviewed for. John Schelbe did a good job except that he misunderstood me. When I mentioned I knew of a couple of cases in which human remains were found it was not is association with the veneration of Santa Muerte, but rather were discarded ngangas or la prendas.

Was Just Interviewed For A News Story

I was contacted by a writer for a newspaper for help with a story that will air tomorrow. I don't know if they will use any of the information I provided but I thought it was an interesting experience. I don't want to give anything away in case it turns out be hugely embarrassing, but it wasn't about myself or conjure work. Instead, it concerned a certain find made by police in a location in California. If the story is cool I'll post the link.

Testimonial From A Client

I received the following message today which really made my day. It's from a client who I shall refer to as "V". V hired me for break-up work and reconciliation work. The "xxx" refer to information I've censored for anonymity.

I feel like screaming for joy & if I could without people looking at me like I'm crazy I probably would! Lol. I am very very thankful for your help in this.. I've been taken advantage of so much by "scammers" that I had almost lost hope but I don't have that uneasy feeling about you. Like I did other cases. =\

Oooops...I Did It Again

Went back to the casino tonight and once again I hit another player's reel. I met this really cool older woman and we talked and gave each other "good juju" for several hours. Well, she hits her buttons and then starts digging in her purse. I saw the symbols line up and there was no time to tell her to stop her last reel so I reached over and stopped it for her and won her $87 and change. LOL I really need to stop doing that because one of these days someone is bound to get really upset with me! But anyway, if you ever go to the casino with me just know that I got your back!

One of the things I like about casinos is meeting people. Winning money is extremely fun, don't get me wrong, but meeting people is a good plus. In addition to the older woman, this drunk couple took a shining to me. The wife kept rubbing my screen and doing her "whammy" with her hand like a tiger or something, like she was sending me good energy. We got so loud I was afraid some of the employees would ask us to leave. Then an employee comes over and starts joining in with us and she even rubbed my back for good luck. LOL

So let me tell you about the highlight of my night. I was playing King of Africa and got full lions, 5 reels of nothing but the lion symbols. That's considered "jackpot" and it's the highest you can get. However, the problem is that it was only a 20 cent bet. I was so pissed! if I played my normal $1.00 on these games I'm sure it would have been close to like $600 or even more. I can't remember exactly what I won but I think it was close to $200 on that spin.

King of Africa

I did have one problem with a "Negative Nancy", who tried to jinx me up. She sat next to me and start giving me problems, mumbling under her breath, etc. When I hit a good line hit she even said, "Again" in a disgusted and jealous manner. Unfortunately these jinxers  our there. So I do the same thing I always do. I will teach you this trick. When someone is trying to jinx you on casinos what you do is take your hand and hold it up with your palm out and fingers spread. Then you move it in a quick counter-clockwise circle and "grab the negativity" then you fling it right back at them. She left a couple of minutes after I flung it right back at her. Those jealous people really bug me.

Slots I Do Not Recommend

These are some of the slots that I do not recommend people play. I've found that you pretty much have to bet max on these to win anything and even then the pay outs are not good at all. Some of them I seem to never win on no matter what. The problem is that a lot of these games are entertaining. I would advise people just watch other people play them rather than feed these machines.

Wizard Of Oz

The Dark Knight

Some Of My Fave Slots

I play these frequently. Some people don't like them but I do. I play them because they are the machines I most hit on. The pay outs are really good in my opinion. So if you are wondering what slots to play these vids may help you out. Remember to check the menu for the pay out stats before you play. You don't want a machine that has payed out thousands within the past 24 hours and you don't want a machine that hasn't payed out hardly anything in the last 24 hours. Ideally you want a machine that has had moderate payouts in the past 24 hours. If you are new to the game start out betting small. If you notice you are winning then bet hire. Remember that when you have multiple reels of symbols lining up and the next reels get highlighted that you can try to stop them on the symbols. You stop them by touching the reel on the screen. Use your judgement as to whether you think the symbols will hit on their own or if they are moving too fast to hit so you have to stop them. Also, look for machines where the major progressive is close to $500 because they must award the major progressive before it hits $500.

More Casino Tips

Yeah, I know I wrote that I would be taking a break from blogging for a while but last night I went to the casino and did okay, not superb but I had fun. The funny thing is that I did something I never even thought I would ever do....interfere with the woman playing next to me by hitting her screen to try to help her win. LOL Let me explain. I play a lot of these types of games, like in this clip below...

This game is called Mystical Unicorn. I play it a lot. I won $160 on a 50 cent bet on like the 6th o 7th spin. The very first time I ever played it I won $288 on like the 4th spin. So I always like to play it at least once when I go to the casino. Anyway, if you notice in the video that when the all the unicorns line up that there will be rolls that are highlighted to see if you can get further unicorns. Well, most people don't know that you can stop that roll to make sure you land on unicorns. You can judge by the speed if you think they will land and if you think they are moving to fast you can touch the screen to stop them. In the video the person filming it doesn't appear to know that trick and just let them land as they fell. So that's what happened with the woman next to me. She was playing a pirate-type verson of this game and she had all four reels lined up and I saw that she was just sitting there so when I saw the symbols coming I didn't have time to tell her to touch the screen so I just reached over and did it for her and she won over $200. She started laughing and said that since she won she can't be mad at me. LOL

Here are a few of these games I like to play:

Robin Hoodoo And The Golden Arrow

The first time I ever played Robin Hood I won $389 on a 20 cent bet.

Fairy's Fortune

The fairies were good to me last night. Won $315 on a 40 cent bet on this machine.

Dragon's Fire

I don't usually win anything big on this game but I like to play it for a little while. I think the music is cool.

Some of the game that I simply hate include Hexbreaker, Alien, Ghostbusters, the Dark Knight, Vampire's Embrace, Zeus, and the Wizard of Oz. I've never won anything on them. I'm going to give Lord of the Rings and the Michael Jackson slot a try. The Michael Jackson one is very entertaining. I like to just watch people play it. Hint: play the game with a good sound because when this hits the bonus it cranks it up and gets people's attention. I see people dancing to this all the time.

Michael Jackson's King Of Pop

As far as further tips go, here are some of my suggestions. Remember, this is just my opinion and you can disagree if you so choose.

1.) Remember like with the games like Mystical Unicorn and the like that you can stop those wheels to make sure they land on the symbol you want if the reel is highlighted. You can even do that for the bonus symbol. Just touch the reel on the screen to stop it. Lots of people don't know this. If you notice in the videos above none of the players seem to know that trick.

2.) With the games like Mystical Unicorn and the like, look at the Major Progressive Jackpot figure. The Progressive must be awarded before it reaches $500. If you see it's like $480, hop on that machine fast! However, keep in mind that both the minor and major jackpot are awarded randomly. So they can hit at any time. It's just that if you see it's real close to $500 then you know it has to pay off soon. I hit minors all the time, won 2 last night. I've yet to win a major though.

3.) When you are trying a new game for the first time bet low.

4.) If you notice a winning streak on a game bet high.

5.) Always play with your players card. So that way you can get benefits. Some people claim that you can never win really big prizes if you use your card but that's not true.

6.) On the games like Mystical Unicorn, Robin Hood, Fairy's Fortune, and the like, you will get the most money for higher bets. Last night on Mystical Unicorn I started out low for some reason, only a 30 cent bet and I got 4 reels of unicorns and only won $32. If I would have bet higher I'm sure that alone would have been over $100.

7.) Check the payout stats on the machines. These machines like Mystical Unicorn and the like will show you the payout stats in the menu feature. If you see that it's given out high winnings in the past 24 hours you may want to avoid it. You ideally want a machine with only moderate payouts. Also, avoid the machines with litttle to no payouts for the last 24 hours. I found one last night that only awared $25 in the last 24 hours so I declined playing it.

8.) When you have a decent winning built up. Try thinking about switching to a higher denomination machine, like a $1 or $5 machine.

9.) Always visit the high rollers room or area at least once. Play at least one spin on a game just in case you might win. I haven't hit it big in the high rollers section yet. But I'm sure one day I will. However, the only machines I simply refuse to play are the $25 machiens. I think that is far too much money!

Hope this helps and Happy Winnings!

Client Testimonial - Break Up Work

The "xxxx" is information that I have censored for anonymity. The following is from a client I will refer to as "Y". She told me she was pleased with my work so I asked her if she would write a little something I could post on my blog.

Subject: breakup job

I was asked to tell people how much I recommend doc. In february I got
a reading and my sister got a reading and then I hired doc to brekup
XXXXXXX and XXXXXXX. At the time I didn't have enough money for
reconciliation. Doc told me to put it out of my mind but after a few
months I gave up hope. Then on october 5 XXXXXXX calls and says that he
moved out and that he missed the good times we had. I asked him why he
left her but he says he doesn't really know that something was telling
him to leave. We've talked a few times since but he seems cold and says
that he's not looking for a relationship. I was really suprised because
doc told me that if I was able to put it out of my mind that it would
manifest faster. I plan on hiring the reconciliattion later this month
when I get paid. I would definitely recommend doc. His reading was
really good.

Are You A Witch?....And A Question From A Reader

"Are you a witch? WELL, ARE YOU? Because I am and I can tell."

That's what the woman who checked me out at the library today said to me! LOL  I told her I was a conjure worker but I don't think she understood what that meant. She then went on about how "we" have to stick together because there's only like 10,000 of us in our state. She also showed me her crystal she wore and mentioned that she didn't do magic because she was afraid of the consequences. LOL  I was cracking up. Just thought I would share that.

Also, I received a question from a reader who asked where she could purchase candles since she doesn't have an occult shop in her area. I advised her, and anyone else reading this, to check out your local dollar stores, Wal Mart, and Hobby Lobby and other craft stores. Hobby Lobby has some really good candles and everything from tapers to jumbo and pillar candles that can be used. The only thing is that Hobby Lobby's candles are a bit expensive.

Oh, and today is All Souls' Day.

Now, back on break!

Note To Readers....

I will be taking a break from blogging for a week or so. I will still be around so if you need to contact me then you can reach me at my email below.

Today is also All Saint's Day and tomorrow is All Souls Day. It's also the Dia de los Muertos. For the Wiccans and Neopagans, it's Samhain. No matter what you celebrate, the period of October 31 - November 2, is a time dedicated to the memory of and celebration of the blessed dead. If you don't have an altar or ofrenda set up for the dead during this time and you want ideas of what you can do do honor your dead, then bread and water are the two most important items you can give your blessed dead. You can take them to the graves if you want but you don't have to as the spirits are out and about at this time of year. Speak to your deceased loved ones, welcome them into your home and let them know love them and remember them.

Let's not forget that today is also All Saint's Day. So if you work with the saints then today is a really good day to treat them and show them your gratitude.
