Think And Grow Rich (1937)

This is an audio lecture by Napoleon Hill. Napoleon Hill was a true master. He wasn't a conjure worker per say but he knew the power of the human mind. Napoleon Hill was teaching "The Secret" decades before it would become popular. Hill's life was a true "rags-to-riches" tales. He was born dirt-poor in Virginia. His mother died when he was 9 years-old. He chose his path in 1928 after interviewing Andrew Carnegie. Carnegie inspired him by telling him that it was his opinion that anyone could achieve success if they cold somehow understand the formula for success. Hill devoted his life to that concept and went from a poor young man to a millionaire at the time of his death in 1970. His book, "Think And Grow Rich"(1937) is perhaps his best work. Hill is also famous for his saying, "What the mind of man can conceive and believe, it can achieve."

Note: After Napoleon Hill's death in 1970 debunkers began spreading lies about him dying in poverty and being in debt his entire life. This is simply not true. At the time of his death he owned a 500 acre estate and owned 2 Rolls-Royce. He also had more than one financial advisor on staff and left a foundation in his name. Hill definitively practiced what he preached. It's true that we don't technically know how much he was worth at the time of his death. What we do know is that he earned millions over his life-span and he died wealthy.

  1. this probably has no bearing on your post... but - a few years ago I had a chance to read the The Secret, Think and grow Rich and the master key system.. to be honest I didn't pay proper attention or put into practice what was being thought, but interest progressed naturally to an interest in hoodoo/rootwork, don't know if their linked or what.. just sharing... but after reading your post I'm sorry now I didn't pay proper attention and keep the books.

    1. I've read the Secret and watched the movie. It's funny because a lot of people don't realize that it was just a reworking of other peoples' material. But it's still good. I do think that these books will help inmprove one's conjure work because in conjure work people can sometimes get too caught up in the action while ignoring the mental aspect of the work. Don't feel bad as you still have time read them. You probably can find them at your local library.
