Njoy Kings

I just bought one of these to take with me to the casino. I bought the lights. They are good! They look just like a real cigarette. When you open the pack it actually smells like tobacco. The ash on the end of the cigarette looks just like ash and when you puff on it the LED light doesn't just come on but it starts out dim and the harder you puff the brighter it gets, just like a real cigarette. It's also wrapped in what looks like cigarette paper and it's light enough to hold in your mouth. I don't know how long they last but these are perfect to give to smokers to let them know they can transition. Also, another plus is that if you send 8 used ones you get a free one. I must admit that Blu disposables are perhaps the best disposables e-cigs on the market right now due to the fact that they last a long time. A Blu disposable lasts me days.

Attention: Policy Change Regarding Paid Setting Of Lights (7 Day Candles)

As of today, Sunday April 28, 2013, I will no longer set paid lights for matters pertaining to love. This means no more paid setting lights for love-drawing, reconciliation, increasing passion, tying nature, sweetening, etc. So for now on clients who wish me to perform love-work will need to hire me for a full, complete work.

Maximon/San Simon

Maximon/San Simon (pronounced "Mash-ih-mon" or "Match-ih-mon" and "San Si-moan"), sometimes referred to Hermano (brother), is a Guatemalan folk saint associated with wealth, luck. prosperity, health, fertility, blessings, and protection, especially from witchcraft. The word Maximon (the tied-up one) is perhaps his true name. The name San Simon, though more popular today, is perhaps the name of the newly evolved form.

Appearance: An adult Guatamalan man with a moustache, dressed in 19th century-style dark clothing and carrying a rifle and a bag of money. Sometimes he carries a wooden baton. San Simon is almost always portrayed as being seated. For images of Maximon/San Simon, click HERE.

Lore: There is much misinformation being spread about San Simon/Maximon. The misinformation is similar to that being spread about Santa Muerte, mainly that San Simon is a pagan god that survived the coming of Christianity. Certain individuals claim that San Simon is the survival of the worship of a pagan Mayan deity named Mam. In reality there is no evidence for such. The word 'mam' means 'grandfather' and is not the proper name of a deity but is used as a term to denote any elderly male god. So there are multiple "mams" in Mayan mythology. However, mam meaning grandfather is a word that is still used to this day and thus it is far more likely that any use of mam connected to the veneration of San Simon is merely used as a term of respect for elders, with San Simon being the highest "elder" of the community.

The origins of San Simon are murky for sure but what little evidence exists suggests that San Simon's "birth" began as a ritual involving the creation of an effigy as a charm to destroy and drive off witches and witchcraft. Thus San Simon's "power" to grant prosperity, wealth, fertility, etc., is simply the restoration of normalcy once the witches have been defeated. With time this more than likely became confused with San Simon granting these things in exchange for his veneration. From the clothing we can ascertain that sometime in the 19th century San Simon began to evolve as a character and his look began to be more or less "fixed" with 19th century clothing. Prior to this time all the effigies of San Simon were made of rags and straw, with perhaps a mask and a hat. The Catholic Church at first approved of the veneration of San Simon or at least turned a blind eye to the practice. I would propose that when San Simon began to evolve from an effigy meant to drive off witches into a personality or figure of devotion, that that is when the Catholic Church began to have issues with the veneration of San Simon. The reason I suggest this is because the Catholic Church originally allowed the effigies in the Church. The effigies were tied up in a high place within the church, which is where the name "Maximon" (the tied-up one) comes from. Then something happened where the Church forbid the effigies in the church. I would suggest that a possible answer is that the priests began to realize that the people had crossed the line into venerating the effigy as an actual spiritual entity unto itself instead of viewing it as simply a charm to ward off evil. Part of the crusade to eradicate the veneration of this new folk saint involved the Catholic Church equating San Simon with Judas Iscariot, the betrayer of Christ. Such equations backfired. Instead of viewing San Simon as a devil or figure of evil, as most Christians view Judas to be, they began to view him in a more positive light as even though Judas Iscariot betrayed Christ for 30 pieces of silver, he also gave that silver away to the needy before he killed himself. The Catholic Church failed at eradicating the veneration of San Simon but the equation of San Simon with Judas Iscariot has remained among believers.

One folk legend on the birth of San Simon involves a man-whore and trickster who managed to sleep with all the women in the community while the men where away. As punishment he had his arms and legs chopped off. He then bled to death in a field (his blood fertilizing the crops), and his spirit was transformed into San Simon, the folk saint. This legend most likely arose because some of the effigies of him are without legs and arms. In fact, the original effigies of Maximon were made of rags and straw, with a mask and hat. These effigies did not have arms or legs. Most likely sometime in the 19th century this then evolved into Maximon developing his own look and character, that which we see today.

San Simon is a trickster. He will deceive you if you aren't careful. His tricks are associated with his sense of humor but he does have a dark side and can be cruel at times. He is also a very macho spirit. His offerings include liquor, tobacco, tortillas, corn, hot peppers, candy, money, as well as music and songs. He is also given blood sacrifices, usually chickens. He can accept any offering though as long as it is given in good faith. Sometimes his offerings are burned. It is extremely important to realize that he is Judas Iscariot. That is something that his believers have accepted.

Powers- San Simon can grant wealth, prosperity, luck, good harvests, ensure fertility, grant blessings, heal, and grant protection, especially from witchcraft in return for his veneration and giving him his offerings.

Defense Against San Simon - The only people who truly have a need to fear San Simon are witches, as in evil-doers, workers of black magic against innocents, as his original function is to destroy witches and witchcraft.

Product Reviews - Wisdom Products - Black Cat Bone

Brand: Wisdom Products
Type: Bone
Name: Black Cat Bone
Package: Envelope
Color: NA
Label: White envelope with a black cat in the center, an all-seeing eye w/ master key, a four-leaf clover with a horseshoe, a heart pierced with an arrow, the numbers 7-11, the number 13, a magician doing magic with a top hat, and various words, typical name and logo of company with list of ingredients

The packaging is attractive. What is inside is a small bag with "something" hidden in cotton. When you remove the cotton what is revealed is a piece of "something" that is covered in a white, chalk-like substance. If you scrape off this coating what is revealed is a dark "something". What this "something" is is up for debate. It could be a piece of bone that has been burned. It can also be a piece of wood. It's very light and unlike bone it is flexible. Of course this is fake, meaning it's not an actual bone of a black cat. At best it's a chicken bone. At worst it's a piece of wood. However, I would definitely much prefer someone using this fake black cat bone than trying to perform the black cat ritual on their own. However, I would recommend people to let "black cat bones" go. It's a dead rite. Not to mention that it's extremely evil. If you want to work with the spirit of the black cat then purchase some black cat hair and use that instead.

Product Review - Wisdom Products - Adam & Eve Root

Brand: Wisdom Products
Type: Root
Name: Adam & Eve Root
Package: Envelope
Color: NA
Label: Pink envelope w/ "Adam & Eve" holding hands, a heart and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil in the background, typical name and logo of company with list of ingredients

The package is okay but I think they need to rework the artwork. This is not a genuine Adam & Eve root. Instead, it's one Balm of Gilead and one something that looks like a mutant peanut. The real plants that Adam & Eve roots come from are endangered. Because of such I'm not that pissed that Wisdom Products is selling a fake item. Instead, what pisses me off is the price of the item. I paid $6.99 + tax at a local occult shop for this item. Of course it's not worth it. Don't feel bad. I knew in advance it was fake so I wasn't deceived. The reason why the price pisses me off is that the items are definitely not worth that price. If this was only $1, I would have no complaints. The fact that they are charging the same price as if it was the "real deal" infuriates me. I personally would never purchase this again.Instead of trying to find a replacement for Adam & Eve root, I think it's best we just let this one rest in peace and not use it anymore. Perhaps in the future if the real plant actually recovers and is no longer endangered then folk magic using it's root can be resurrected.

Product Review- Old Style Conjure Card Reading Kit

This review is for Old Style Conjure Card Reading Kit by Momma Starr.

This kit comes with the deck of cards wrapped in a white hanky, a bottle of oil, a small white candle, and a small booklet.

The Bad:

There is no instructions on what to do with the candle and oil. The oil has no label on it but to me it smells similar to like LuckyMojo's Fast Luck oil, though I'm sure Momma Starr made it herself. The oil has some herb in it and I'm assuming it's Master-of-the-Woods, just because Momma Starr is so fond of that herb. For me at least, the cards are too large and cumbersome to use in an actual reading. The booklet does not give adequate instructions on how to use the cards with regard to various layouts, even though there are pictures of layouts in the booklet. Starr tells what layouts she uses but doesn't discuss what the positions mean or how to interpret the layouts. Now, I can read playing cards but I will admit that it's not my favorite means of divination. I don't much care for the "system" methods of divination. As a psychic I need more creative freedom to ebb-and-flow, so to speak. I also found the kit to be too expensive for the material/info given.

The Good:

The good things about the kit is that the booklet gives the meanings of each card as well as corresponding bible passages. Now, if I didn't know anything about reading playing cards then I would recommend purchasing a deck of say Bicycle playing cards and then using the deck and booklet in the kit to learn the meanings of the cards. I think that way would be the best way to go around learning the meaning because it's just so easier to use an actual deck of playing cards in a reading.

On a scale of 1 to 10, with 1 being the lowest and 10 being the highest, I give this a 4. I personally think Momma Starr would have done better if she made this just a full-blown book, with the reader using their own playing cards, rather than making it a kit.

Sad News At The Occult Shop

So I went to the occult shop today to handle the business of the consignment stuff. That's when one of the workers told me the bad news. She was leaving and her last day will be on May 3. She has her BA and literally out-of-the-blue she met a man and the started talking and he offered her a full-time, salary job making real good money. So she took it as a blessing and took him up on the offer. She's been there since the 90s, possibly hired I think maybe a year or two after I started shopping there so something like 95 or 96. I will definitely miss her. So I'm going to do something nice for her on he last day.

Oh, and I was going to take some pictures and perhaps a video and post them on my blog but I forget my camera. Well, while I was there another customer was going around taking pictures. The employee (the one who is leaving), snapped at him something fierce and let him know that they don't allow taking pictures in the store. I was a little perplexed so I asked why. Well, it seems that people are coming into the store taking pictures of everything in order to rip it off. I guess some people have done that recently too. One woman even went as far as using the same name of the store but changing one letter! She even printed business cards using the stores exact same logo, "..a magical shopping experience". Then she had the nerve to call the owner and ask her to mentor her with her new shop that she was going to open a few blocks away! LOL Then another employee quit and stole all the vendor contacts and used them to start her own store. So they are real picky and no longer allow people to take pictures in the store. Shame. I'll see if I can sweet talk her into letting me do it though because I love the place.

Product Reviews - Anna Riva - Banishing Oil

Brand: Anna Riva
Type: Oil
Name: Banishing
Bottle: Round, 1/4 fl. oz bottle
Color: Pale Yellow/Golden
Label: Gold label with name of oil , typical name and logo of company with list of ingredients.

This oil has a strong floral scent. It may be too "pretty" for people needing a strong banishing oil. However, if one is looking for a more gentler banishing oil then this may come in handy.

Product Reviews - Anna Riva - Astral Travel Oil

Brand: Anna Riva
Type: Oil
Name: Astral Travel
Bottle: Round, 1/4 fl. oz bottle
Color: Extremely Pale Yellow to Clear
Label: Gold label with name of oil , typical name and logo of company with list of ingredients.

I don't really astral travel and I'm not even  sure how I ended up with this bottle. One of those weird purchases I guess. Anyway, the fragrance is strong and sweet. If someone was going to purchase this for the intended purpose then I probably would advise to add thing pertaining to astral travel to the bottle.

Vaping for the over sixties, for smokers

If you are currently a smoker you can transition to vaping, despite your age. It's easy. I smoked for 20+ years, having my first cigarette at the age of 15 but not becoming addicted to about age 18. I smoked about 1/2 pack a day to a full pack if I was stressed. When I went out for the night or went to the casino I could smoke 2 packs just in that time period. When I transitioned to vaping I immediately knew I would never go back to smoking again. I had no withdrawal symptoms and no real urge to smoke a cigarette. I advise any smoker, despite age, to give vaping a try.

Product Reviews - Anna Riva - Amber Oil

Brand: Anna Riva
Type: Oil
Name: Amber
Bottle: Round, 1/4 fl. oz bottle
Color: Light Golden
Label: Gold label with name of oil , typical name and logo of company with list of ingredients.

I like the look of the Anna Riva oil labels but the problem is that they do not last long. The label will quickly wear off leaving behind a silver colored sticker devoid of writing. If you don't want to risk forgetting which oil is which you can put pieces of clear tape over the labels. In fact, I believe that now Anna Riva oils come with a piece of clear tape already placed over the labels, or at least the last time I ordered one it came like that. Another method you can use is clear fingernail police.

Unlike 7 Sisters oils and the like, the fragrances of Anna Riva oils are strong. Amber oil just happens to be one of my favorites in the Anna Riva oil line. The fragrance is exotic and invokes within me an ancient Egyptian-like feel. I actually love this scent and have bought it several times now.

Product Reviews - Gold Label Psychic Oils - Protection Oil

Brand: Gold Label Psychic Oils
Type: Oil
Name: Protection
Bottle: Square, 1/2 fl. oz (14ml) bottle
Color: Red
Label: Gold label with the word "Alleged" written in bold at the top followed underneath with "oil" and "Protection" under that , typical name and logo of company with list of ingredients.

The label is just so-so. They seemed to have used the same type of label that they use for the Anna Riva line of oils. This is a red oil. I hate the red oils. The dye is so strong it will stain your clothing and it looks like blood on your hands. It has the same scent that almost all of the red oils have. If one were to purchase this oil I would advise using it as a base oil and adding items to the bottle. I would never purchase this oil again, or any other from this product line.

Score: On a scale of 1 to 10, with 1 being the lowest and 10 being the highest, I give this a 1.

Note: This will be my one and only review for the Gold Label Psychic Oils line as I will not be purchasing any more of it.

Poduct Review - Indio - Shut Up

Brand: Indio
Type: Oil
Name: Love Me
Bottle: Square, 1/2 fl. oz (14ml) bottle
Color: Red
Label: A man and a woman either embracing or dancing or both, surrounded by hearts and a bouquet of flowers , typical name and logo of company with list of ingredients.

The label is so-so. This is a red oil. I hate the red oils. The only thing different about this oil is that is has a scent different from the other red oils I have tried. It is a pleasant scent. If one were to purchase this oil I would recommend using it as a base oil and adding ingredients to the bottle. I would not purchase this oil again.

Link: https://www.wisdomproducts.com/product/926

Score: On a scale of 1 to 10, with 1 being the lowest and 10 being the highest, I give this a 2.

Note: This will probably be my last review of an Indio oil as I more than likely will never purchase them again.

Product Review - Indio - Shut Up Oil

Brand: Indio
Type: Oil
Name: Shut Up
Bottle: Square, 1/2 fl. oz (14ml) bottle
Color: Red
Label: A man with duct-tape over his mouth  , typical name and logo of company with list of ingredients.

The label is in color and is attractive. It suites the purpose. However, this is a red oil. This company uses the same oils for almost all of the product line. I hate the red oil. It will stain your clothing and it looks like blood on your hands. The scent is the same for most, if not all, of the red oils. If one were to purchase this oil I would recommend using it as a base oil and adding ingredients to the bottle. I would not purchase this oil again.

Possibly The Only Thing I Agree With Coming From Rush Limbaugh

This is from 2010 but the fight is not over. The FDA is gearing up for another attack on e-cigs and vaping. People need to realize that the FDA is in bed with the pharmaceutical companies who make the nicotine gum, patches, inhalers, and the pills that allegedly help people to stop smoking. So of course they are going to act to get rid of the competition of e-cigs. This is quite sad since e-cigs work and the other stuff doesn't. Did you know that only 1 out of every 10 people who try the gum or patches successfully quit? Meanwhile circa 6 out of every 10 people who try vaping successfully quit smoking? Pretty impressive. The rumor is the FDA is going to try to outlaw all sale of e-juice, meaning you can only buy pre-filled cartridges and these cartridges will only contain a very small amount of nicotine. The rumor is also that all flavors other than tobacco and menthol will be banned. However, some are saying they are going to try to outright ban all e-cigs.

Sexual Abstinence

I get so many emails on this that I guess it's time to discuss it. I guess a lot of people are confused concerning folks refraining from sex during a work. So I guess it's time to clear things up.

Sexual abstinence during rituals is normally something pertaining to other religions, such as Voodou, Santeria, etc. Usually these restriction involve initiations and the like but sometimes these restrictions are given for other things. In the distant past, such as in Egypt with regard to their professional magicians, sexual abstinence was a requirement and especially if the spell or ritual involved invoking a god or goddess.

In hoodoo/rootwork/conjure, sexual abstinence is normally not required. I say normally because I've heard of it. Usually in the cases where this restriction is given it is given by a professional worker to a client. Also of note is that in many of these situations the professional worker often refers to them self as "prophet" or a similar title. The restriction is normally communicated as like a test from Spirit to see if the person is worthy. That's how I look at it a least. However, for most people this is an issue that they will not have to deal with. For example, what does refraining from sex have to do with prosperity work? Absolutely nothing.

Now, there is a belief that sex drains people, especially men, of their power and can make it harder to manifest one's desire. If you believe in that then you might want to refrain from sex during your work or ritual. It's really just up to you.

Testimony From A Client

Oh then we need to get to work don't we?? Lol!!
And, since you got to my reading sooner than expected, I have a review for you!! Hope it is ok!
I wanted to write this review to tell everyone what an amazing reading I received from Doc. I needed to get some insight on my on again off again boyfriend and our recent breakup. So, of course the first place i went was the internet.
I knew who seemed to know their business and was transparent about themselves. There are so many scammers out there! one has to be careful! during my search, I came across Doc's blog and was really impressed with his discussions on rootwork. I am familiar enough with rootwork to know that Doc knew what he was talking about!
I booked a reading with him and had no qualms about shipping the cash to him. He stayed on top of things and checked in with me the moment he received payment. He even emailed me because i was a day late getting back to him due to a hectic work schedule. (Sorry again about that Doc!) He is so trustworthy!!
He actually got to my reading sooner than expected and picked up on some items that I never mentioned. Definitely insightful and straightforward. He does not mince words and will tell it like it is wether you want to hear it or not!! He told me some things that I really did not expect or want to hear, but it was not all bad. I still have a chance to have to love of my life back.
If you are looking for a reader who is honest, will let you know the truth of the matter and help guide you in the direction you need to go, then Doc is your man!
Doc, I just have to say thank you again. Even though some of what you said hurt, to know there is still hope helps to make it easier to bear.
Much love

Earth Day & Smoking Dreams

So today is Earth Day, a time to honor our wonderful planet and to focus on conservation efforts. This year the "theme" is "Climate Change", which I think is hogwash meant to impoverish the USA with new "carbon taxes". However, supporting other conservation efforts such as saving endangered animals and plants, stopping pollution, and even planting trees are good efforts. I feel really bad since I had to go lay some items at the crossroads today for a client. LOL The good thing is that I will only lay out stuff that is decomposable.

Now, for the past three nights I've been having dreams of smoking. In the dreams someone, usually a friend from the past, either pressures me to smoke or else I sneak out of the house and smoke. The sensation is like it was occurring in reality. Then as I wake up I feel really guilty for a while until it dawns on me that it was a dream. I've transitioned to vaping and threw away about 6 packs of cigarettes when I did, so I have nothing to smoke in the house. I'm not quite sure what the dream means, other than me perhaps longing for the good old days and the memories of smoking. However, I'm not going back. Last night I went to Wal Mart and the male cashier was a vaper. He pulled out his model of e-cig, an eGo twist, and we talked for a while. Now that I've transitioned I'm seeing it everywhere, which is good. So anyway the cashier mentioned that he still smokes. I was like, huh? Then he said he likes smoking and doesn't want to give it up. So I was really kind of perplexed and tried to get him to realize that that is what vaping is for, to transition off of "analogs" (cigarettes). Otherwise, it's not going to be a health advantage if one were to continue smoking and vaping.

I also went to the casino last night. I spent $65 and won $424. However, what really made my day was being able to go to the casino without smoking. That's like the ultimate test for me. In fact, next time I go to the casino I'm not even going to bring my e-cigs with me. However, this time I brought a disposable Blu e-cig with me. I got a few weird looks which was probably due to the blue light at the end of it. I got a few double-takes by some older folks.

Finally, I wanted to touch on how important it is if you are a vaper to vape openly in public. I know lots of vapers still feel shy about vaping in public, say like at Wal Mart, or at the mall, movie theatres, etc. The problem is that people need to see it to realize that it's okay. People will get accustomed to it the more they see it. Also, it will serve to draw in the smokers and motivate them to transition or at least try it. So if you are vaper, don't be shy. Bust it out in public.

Pendulums!

In this blog I would like to touch on such things as how to choose the right pendulum for you, how to cleanse it, how to identify it's movements, and how to wok it.  Before I begin I want to stress that you don't have to purchase you a pendulum. You can make your own. Back in the day people made simple pendulums out of a threaded needle or a threaded button. The reason being is that if you got caught with this nobody would be screaming, "witch!". Instead, people would have no clue that it was being used for divination. Likewise you can create a pendulum out of a variety of substances. You can make a jack ball. You can drill a hole through a favorite root. You can use a pendant. You can drill a hole through a nut or even a coin. There's just hundreds of ways you can make your own pendulum so there's no need to think that you must purchase one. In fact, if you are brand new to using pendulums I would rather you not rush out and buy you a fancy pendulum. Simply thread a needle on a string and dangle it and use that. With practice you will learn a lot and will be ready to move on to other, more expensive types of pendulums.

So the first step is to choose your pendulum. Now, I know one can purchase all types of really neat-looking pendulums online. The problem with this is that you can't feel-out your pendulum to know if it's the one for you. When you purchase online it's going to be a hit or miss. So if you have an occult shop in your area try them out and see if you can find a perfect match for you.

Now, the firs thing to look for is eye-appeal. The right pendulum for you is probably the one that catches your eye and announces it's presence. I'm not saying that "ugly" pendulums don't work. I'm just saying that the right one for you generally makes it's self know by catching your attention. It doesn't matter what the pendulum is made of. Nice pendulums are made today in various semi-precious stone, in various metals, woods, and even "resins"(plastic).

So you eyes quickly gravitate to one special pendulum. Place your open palm under the pendulum, assuming it is dangling in a display or else hold it and then do this. If you sense heat or a tingly, almost electrical feeling then this is the pendulum for you. Hold it in your hands. The pendulum that is for you will "feel right". Remember, pendulums are like stones or crystals. Not all of them will work with us. Instead, we have to find one that will. The same process goes for choosing the right pendulum.

Now that you have chosen the pendulum that is right for you, what next?  Well, many people want to take it home and immediately start to use it. That's not such a good idea. I would prefer cleansing and blessing it first. There are dozens of ways to cleanse a pendulum. I prefer the easier way of simply holding it under running water. If that's not your thing you can place it in salt, bury it in the ground, or place it in the sunlight to cleanse it as well. Now, please show caution. Some pendulums should not be cleaned with these methods. For example, if you have a silver pendulum you do not want to use salt or salt water on it as it will damage it. It will probably damage other metals as well. Some stones can not be put into the sunlight or it will effect the color of the stone. So do your research before choosing a cleansing method.

After cleansing the next step is blessing. You can pray over your pendulum, lightly dress it with a spiritual oil, pass it through incense, etc. Some people will even prick their finger and let a drop of blood fall on the pendulum to personalize it and keep it working for them. However, you can also get the same effect by simply keeping the pendulum on your body for several days. With time it will naturally become in tune with your energy. During the cleansing and blessing process if you want to name your pendulum you can. Or simply ask it what it's name is.

So now that we've cleansed and blessed the pendulum, it's time to use it, right? Nope! Before we can use it we have to learn it's language. Hold the pendulum up within your closed palm. Ask the pendulum to show you it's "yes" movement. Then drop the pendulum so that it dangles. This will give the pendulum momentum. Pay close attention to the movement of the pendulum. It may take a few seconds. When you think you know the movement then verify it. I will ask the question at least 3 times just to be sure. Then repeat the process asking for it's "no" movement, and then ending with it's, "maybe/mystery/ask again later" movement. After you have learned the language of the pendulum you can now use it in divination.

So how do we use the pendulum? Well, I recommend newbies to gather a pen and paper and go to a quiet area where you will not be disturbed. Relax and concentrate on your question. The question must be able to be answered with a simple yes or no. Right down the questions, the answers and your feelings. Keep this as a record. Refer to the record every now and then and monitor the accuracy of the responses.

Now, this happens to all pendulum uses. If you are not in the right frame of mind, such as being stressed out, intoxicated, extremely angry or upset, etc., then the pendulum is known to lie. The same thing goes if you are obsessed. If you keep asking the same question the pendulum will stop giving you the truth and will lie to you since that is what you truly want. So you must approach the pendulum in a relaxed state and you must be able to concentrate on the situation. Be as unbiased as possible and do not divine with the pendulum if you are obsessed. In these situations I advise both cleansing the pendulum and then doing a personal cleansing as well before trying again.

Now, this is only the basics of divining with pendulums. There are advanced things that can be done with pendulums, such as dowsing. However, that will be left to a future blog.

Testimony From A Client

This is Tish (fake name for anonymity). Tish was a reluctant client. I actually thought she wasn't going to hire me and was quite surprised when she emailed me letting me know she decided to hire me. This is what she has to say.

Subject: Doc, heres the review

Hello everyone who may be reading this. I hired Doc Conjure for two works and he asked me to tell of my experiences.

The first work was to get a promotion at my job. I almost didn't do this one but at the last minute I decided to do it because there was a discount. What happened was that I did not get the promotion I wanted. I was a little upset and was thinking that I wasted money on the work. Then my supervisor approached me and asked me to apply for
a new position opening up in another department. It pays far more than I made at my position. I ended up getting that new position which is good because pay was the only reason why I wanted the promotion work. I think in this sitution the work did manifest but not in the way that I imagined it would.

The second spell was work to get rid of my next door neighbors whose son has been stealing stuff from my garage and breaking windows. I believe he is a drug dealer and the whole family is nothin but trouble. They even had the nerve to call the cops on me twice. Well, it's been about three months and I gave up on the work. Again I thought that the work was a waste of money. Next thing I know the husband ran off and left the wife and children. Then the wife has the nerve to come on my porch begging for money saying she can't afford to pay rent. So she's still there but it's only a matter of time before they are evicted. So I'm actually shocked at myself for not having faith in Doc. He definitley delivered. So please, doc accept my apology. I would recommend doc in a heart beat. Two thumgs up.

Spring Fling 2013

Just got back from Spring Fling 2013 at my local occult shop. I love going there. I've been going since 1994. I'm going to have to take pictures and post them for my readers someday.  Spring Fling is a sale where when you buy one item then you get the next item of equal or lesser price half off. They do these types of sales several times a year. I normally go for their Halloween sale and stock up on stuff.  Let me tell you, the owner stayed up to 3:30am baking herbal cookies for customers. Man, where they good. I've never had herbal cookies before. I mean there were like lemon coriander, lavender cookies, cardamon, etc. I told her she needs to publish a cookbook with the recipes. There was also a masseuse, a crystal vendor selling some wonderful jewelry and stones, and there was supposed to be some one there for of entertainment but I guess they weren't there when I was there.

Interesting thing, the masseuse offered to give me a massage but I declined because I tend to pick up other people's conditions easily and especially when touched. But she seemed nice and I wished her well.

So I went knowing I was going to purchase a pendulum. If you ever shopped for a pendulum it can take a while because you got to find the right one for you. Well, I got down to two. One was a smoky quartz with a wolf pendant. The other was an amethyst with a triquetra. I immediate realized that the wolf one was male and the triquetra one was female. So I kept racking my brain trying to decide which one to buy when my little inner voice kicked in, "Get 'em both, dummy". LOL So I purchased both of them. My one with the wolf I'll use for my male clients and the triquetra one I'll use for my female clients. So when I bought them I was given all these extra goodies in the bag that jut made my day. I got a small baby-blue drawstring bag filled with semi-precious stone chips, two rose rocks (the official Oklahoma state rock), candy, a pen, incense sticks, and a 15% of card for my next visit. I was really impressed but then again I love this store.

I don't know if you remember me writing on this but a client gave me this HUGE box full of Wiccan stuff. I didn't know what to do with it. I mean, there's tons of statues, cauldrons, a Ellegua head, stone boxes, pentacles, and all kinds of other stuff. I thought about just selling them on my blog but realized it would be too much of a hassle with shipping. So I talked with one of the employees and so they are going to take them and will sell them on consignment. So I'm really happy about that. Saves me a lot of problems and hassles.

At one point I almost thought I was going to make a vaping convert. A former occult shop owner (her shop closed a few months back) was there giving readings and mentioned she had to take a smoke break. I brought up vaping and either she didn't hear me or willingly chose to ignore me but she walked right past me and out the door. Then one of the new employees I'm not familiar with came up to me and told me that they've been trying for a long time to get her to switch to vaping, as all of them had too. I was like, "Yeah, I love vaping and it's saved my life for sure.".

So I'm pooped out. Time for a nap.

Asking For Free Advice And My Opinions

Every week I get many, many emails from people who don't want to hire a worker but who just want to "talk to someone", if even by email. They simply want to ask for advice or opinions. Most of them write book-length emails and expect me to just donate my time for free for their situations. It's not going to happen!

For the past month or so I've been extremely busy, had a death a in the family, and all kinds of other drama I haven't discussed on my blog. Not to mention that most of my time goes to my paying clients. So I simply can not spend time on people who do not wish to procure my services and just want to ask me for advice. Again, I'm not talking about people who are looking for a worker. I'm talking about the people who make it clear in their emails they are not wanting to hire a worker and just want to do it themselves or want my advice or opinions on various matters in their life. If you want my advice or opinions then the best thing you can do is to schedule a reading. A 30 minute reading is $50. An hour reading is $100. That way we can discuss your situation and it's symbiotic relationship instead of a parasitical one.

Yay! Got My Passthrough In And Other Vaping News

Since I'm on the computer a lot I decided to purchase an e-cig passthrough. Basically it pugs in to you computer or laptop with a USB connection and you don't have to worry about charging batteries. If you want, you can also purchase a car charger with a USB port and you can vape in your car w/out having to worry about recharging the batteries as well.

Here's the kind I got. I got it in metallic red.

http://www.vapor4life.com/vapor-king-auto-usb-passthrough-3879

However, if you get it then know that it takes the 808 cartridges. You can buy those at the same site though. I bought the blanks and just filled them with my e-juice.

http://www.vapor4life.com/premium-coolcarts-vapor-king-blank-cartomizers-4798

So I'm quite happy!

But I do have some sad news. :(

I turned on an old high-school friend to vaping and now she's waffling, thinking that vaping's not safe and that smoking cigarettes are somehow safer. Vaping is far safer than smoking. With smoking you are inhaling 4,000+ chemicals, 60 of which are known carcinogens with multiple others suspected of also being carcinogens. With vaping all you get is water, glycerin (either propylene glycol or vegetable glycerin or a mixture thereof), nicotine, and flavor. The flavoring are the same types used in cooking. The glycerins used are also found in cosmetics and medicines, as well as food products. So is vaping 100% safe. Well, no. Is it safer than cigarettes -YOU BETCHA!

And this is perhaps my favorite vaping video I've found on YouTube.

Product Reviesws - 7 Sisters - Van Van Oil

Brand: 7 Sisters
Type: Oil
Name: Van Van
Bottle: Square, 1/2 fl. oz (14ml) bottle
Color: Yellow
Label: A hand with the phrase, "Helping Hand For Success", a heart with an arrow through it with the word, "Love" written inside it and the word "Amor" written above it, an eye with the words, "Power" and "Protection", written underneath it, a pair of dice with the phrase, "Games & Play", a book with the word, "Dreams", written underneath it, and a four-leaf clover with the word, "Lottery", written underneath it , typical name and logo of company with list of ingredients.

The illustration is attractive. The illustration gives the impression that this is supposed to be an all-purpose oil. The fragrance is pleasant but is the same as all or most of the yellow oils. If one were to purchase this oil I would recommend using it as a base oil and adding items to the bottle. I would also recommend that if someone was going to purchase a yellow oil, make it this one. Otherwise you will get fed up with them. I may or may not purchase this oil again.

Link: https://www.wisdomproducts.com/product/6182

Score: On a scale of 1 to 10, with 1 being the lowest and 10 being the highest, I give this a 5.

Note; This concludes my reviews of 7 Sisters oils. These are all of the oils I have purchased over the years. Save a possibly few oils, I probably will not be purchasing any more of this line of oils. I will admit that the oils have their quaint appeal. It's just that the color and scent of the oils is so repetitive that I quickly got fed up with them.

Product Reviews - 7 Sisters - Uncrossing Oil

Brand: 7 Sisters
Type: Oil
Name: Uncrossing
Bottle: Square, 1/2 fl. oz (14ml) bottle
Color: Purple
Label: A broken cross or "x" with the word, "separation" appearing in the middle, typical name and logo of company with list of ingredients.

The illustration is attractive and suits the purpose, minus the "separation" part which I don't understand. This is a purple oil. I hate the purple oils. They all smell the same. I'm going to say this right now. I'm so damn sick of these purple oils. Indio/Wisdom uses it far too much. If one were to purchase this oil I would recommend using it as a base oil and adding items to the bottle. I would not purchase this oil again.

Score: On a scale of 1 to 10, with 1 being the lowest and 10 being the highest, I would give it a 2.

Product Reviews - 7 Sisters - Steady Work Oil

Brand: 7 Sisters
Type: Oil
Name: Steady Work
Bottle: Square, 1/2 fl. oz (14ml) bottle
Color: Green
Label: An employee clocking in for work, typical name and logo of company with list of ingredients.

The illustration is attractive and suits the purpose. This is a green oil. All of the green oils smell the same, which I noted before that a reader believed smelled like soap or shampoo. This should not be confused with the light green oils, such as Compelling Oil, which has zero fragrance and even though it is advertised as "perfumed oil". If one were to purchase this oil I would recommend using it as a base oil and adding items to the bottle. I would not purchase this oil again because I'm not a big fan of the scent of the oil .

Product Reviews - 7 Sisters - Run Devil Run Oil

Brand: 7 Sisters
Type: Oil
Name: Run Devil Run
Bottle: Square, 1/2 fl. oz (14ml) bottle
Color: Purple
Label: A fleeing devil, typical name and logo of company with list of ingredients.

The illustration is attractive and suits the purpose. This is a purple oil. I hate the purple oils. They all smell the same. If one were to purchase this oil I would advise using it as a base oil and adding items to the bottle. I would not purchase this again.

Product Reviews - 7 Sisters - Reversible Oil

Brand: 7 Sisters
Type: Oil
Name: Reversible
Bottle: Square, 1/2 fl. oz (14ml) bottle
Color: Red
Label: A weird mask with an arrow pointing up and an arrow pointing down, typical name and logo of company with list of ingredients.

The illustration is weird but I guess creating an illustration for reversible products may be difficult to do. This is a red oil. I hate the red oils. The dye is too strong and will stain your clothing. It also looks like blood on your hands. The scent is the same as most, if not all of the red oils. If one were to purchase this I would advise using it as a base oil and adding items to the bottle. I would not purchase this oil again.

Bottle: Square, 1/2 fl. oz (14ml) bottle
Color: Red
Label: A boy with a sling-shot in one hand and a cross in the other hand is leaping over a crouched devil, typical name and logo of company with list of ingredients.

The illustration is weird but fits the purpose. This is a red oil. I hate the red oils. The red dye is so strong it will stain your clothing and looks like blood on your hands. The fragrance is the same for most, if not all of the red oils. If one were to purchase this oil I would recommend using it as a base oil and adding items to the bottle. I would not purchase this oil again.

Product Reviews - 7 Sisters - Money Drawing Oil

Brand: 7 Sisters
Type: Oil
Name: Money Drawing
Bottle: Square, 1/2 fl. oz (14ml) bottle
Color: Green
Label: A woman with a magnet above her attracting money and surrounded by lucky items such as money, the number 7, a four-leaf clover, and dice, typical name and logo of company with list of ingredients.

The illustration is attractive and suits the purpose. This is a green oil. All of the green oils smell the same, not including the light green oils such as Compelling Oil which has no scent. As one of my blog readers has pointed out, the fragrance of this oil, and all of the green oils, is similar to soap or shampoo. It is not something one would associate with a money-drawing oil. If one were to purchase this I would definitely recommend using it as a base oil and adding items to the bottle. I may or may not purchase this again.

Hi Doc,

Not long ago finished my first reading with you so here is my Good, Bad and Ugly as requested:
1: The GOOD: - Doc was right on time as promised wtih his phone call and he was very polite.
2: The BAD : - There wasnt really anything bad. I told Doc that I will most definitely be in touch once I figure out my finances.
3: There was no ugly. Doc was straight foward and honest, I felt. Eventhough the reading was non-eventful in terms of positive things to look foward to, I still feel like he is a good man with VERY good intentions and will be there to help when you need him. I will definitely be back to engage Doc in the work we discussed.

Thank you Doc for your honesty, in a world full of GREED, DECEPTION AND LIES. You are truly a breath of fresh air!!! Blessings!

Bottle: Square, 1/2 fl. oz (14ml) bottle
Color: Red
Label: A nude couple embracing within a heart, typical name and logo of company with list of ingredients.

The illustration is okay but it's a bit small. This is a red oil. I hate the red oils. The red dye is too strong and it will stain your clothing. It looks like blood on your hands. It has the same fragrance as most, if not all, of the red oils. If one was going to purchase this I would recommend using it as a base oil and adding items to the bottle. Earthquake!

I wasn't going to post on this but a reader shot me an email asking me if I was okay after the earthquake. So I guess they saw it online or on the news or something. Last night we had an earthquake. It was about 1:40-ish AM. I was sitting on the floor on my laptop and the ground started to vibrate, and my plants, tables, and lamps started shaking. I thought it was my dog as he can be pretty loud when he scratches but I turned and saw him sleeping on the couch. So for those who have never experienced an earthquake, for me it was like being on a vibrating bed, but with items in the room shaking. I don't know what's going on but Oklahoma is not known for it's earthquakes. We're supposed to be more concerned with tornadoes, not the ground shaking! Over the past couple of years I've experienced a lot of earthquakes and am wondering if something might be going on that we don't know about. After going online I found out there were a total of 5 earthquakes!

Product Reviews - 7 Sisters - Hot Foot Oil

Brand: 7 Sisters
Type: Oil
Name: Hot Foot
Bottle: Square, 1/2 fl. oz (14ml) bottle
Color: Blue
Label: A foot stepping on fire, typical name and logo of company with list of ingredients.

The illustration is attractive and suits the purpose. This is a blue oil. The blue oils all smell the same. I also don't understand why they made this a blue oil. Surely a red oil would have been better as red indicates heat. I would recommend people who are buying this to add ingredients to the bottle. I would not purchase this oil again.

Color: Purple
Label: A king holding a scepter and sitting on a throne, typical name and logo of company with list of ingredients.

This is the typical illustration of a king found on most "High John" products. This is a purple oil. I hate the purple oils as they all smell the same. If someone were to purchase this I would advise putting John the Conqueror root in the oil. I would not purchase this oil again but if I were to then this would be the only purple oil that I would purchase.

Type: Oil
Name: Do As I Say
Bottle: Square, 1/2 fl. oz (14ml) bottle
Color: Orange
Label: Two women dressed in clothes from a bygone era, typical name and logo of company with list of ingredients.

I sort of understand what the artist was getting at with the illustration, because women can be skilled at manipulation. Otherwise, I think it's a poor choice. This is an orange oil. It has a nice scent that is similar, if not equal to the Bend Over oil.. If I were to purchase this again I would use it as base to add other items to. I liked it.

I'm not fond of the illustration but I understand what they are trying to communicate. This is a brown oil. All of the brown oils smell the same. I would recommend anyone who wishes to purchase this to add ingredients to the bottle. I would not purchase this oil again.

Color:  Blue
Label: A woman with her hand on her throat and with her other hand scratching her head, typical name and logo of company with list of ingredients.

The illustration is attractive and suits the purpose. This is a blue oil. All of the blue oils smell the same. I would recommend this be used as a base-oil and adding items to it. The fragrance is semi-strong, perhaps the strongest of all the 7 Sisters oils I have purchased. I may or may not purchase this again. Since all of the blue oils smell the same I would advise people who are going to purchase 7 Sisters oils to only purchase one blue oil while ignoring the rest. Otherwise you are going to get real fed up with them.

Product Reviews - 7 Sisters - Compelling Oil

Brand: 7 Sisters

Bottle: Square, 1/2 fl. oz (14ml) bottle
Color: Light Green
Label: A man with glasses is pointing at a piece of paper with written words on it. Around him are books and other items, typical name and logo of company with list of ingredients.

I hate the illustration. I does not suit the purpose at all. The oil has ZERO fragrance. I also don't understand the light green color of the oil. Green is not really associated with dominating-type oils. Do not buy this oil. It's not even worth trying to add your own items to the bottle. I mean, it has ZERO fragrance so what's the point?

Brand: 7 Sisters
Type: Oil
Name: Cleo May
Bottle: Square, 1/2 fl. oz (14ml) bottle
Color: Yellow
Label: Three cards and dice, typical name and logo of company with list of ingredients.

The illustration does nothing for me. This is a yellow oil. Most if not all of the yellow oils have the same fragrance. The fragrance is actually nice. If you are going to purchase this I would recommend using it as a base oil and adding things to the bottle. However, I would not purchase this oil again.

Product Reviews - 7 Sisters - Break Up Oil

Brand: 7 Sisters
Type: Oil
Name: Break Up
Bottle: Square, 1/2 fl. oz (14ml) bottle
Color: Brown
Label: A heart broken in two with a man in one half looking to the left and a woman in the other half looking to the right, typical name and logo of company with list of ingredients.

I like the illustration. It suits the purpose. This a brown oil. All the brown oils smell the same. If you are going to purchase this oil I would recommend using it as a base oil and adding ingredients to the bottle. Since this is a brown oil and all brown oils smell the same I would recommend only purchasing one brown oil and avoiding all the other brown oils. So if I was ever going to order another brown oil this would be it. I actually like this one and would purchase it again.

Brand: 7 Sisters
Type: Oil
Name: Black Cat
Bottle: Square, 1/2 fl. oz (14ml) bottle
Color: Purple
Label: A black cat with a horseshoe, typical name and logo of company with list of ingredients.

The illustration doesn't do anything for me. This is a purple oil. All of the purple oils smell the same. If you are going to purchase this oil I would advise using it as a base oil and adding items to the oil. However, I would not purchase this oil again.

This is an attractive bottle. I like the illustration. This is a brown oil. All the brown oils smell the same. However, the good news is that the brown oils are not as abundant as the purple oils. If you are going to purchase this oil I would recommend using it as a base oil and adding other items to the bottle. However, I would not purchase this oil again.

Color: Purple

The illustration doesn't do anything for me. This is a purple oil. I hate the purple oils. All of the purple oils have the same fragrance. If you are going to purchase this I would recommend using it as a base and adding roots, herbs, or other items to the bottle. Personally, I would never purchase this again.

Type: Oil
Name: Bend Over
Bottle: Square, 1/2 fl. oz (14ml) bottle
Color: Orange
Label: A woman and a man bending over at the waist, typical name and logo of company with list of ingredients

Nice looking bottle with attractive illustration. The oil has a nice fragrance. I love this oil and have bought it maybe 3 or 4 times over the years. It's one of the few 7 Sisters oils I have no problems with other than there's no natural ingredients used in it's creation. I add roots, herbs, and other stuff to the bottle. I would definitely recommend it.

Product Review - 7 Sisters - Bat's Blood Oil

Brand: 7 Sisters

Name: Bat's Blood
Bottle: Square, 1/2 fl. oz (14ml) bottle
Color: Red
Label: A flying bat dripping blood into a bowl with the full moon in the background, typical name and logo of company with list of ingredients.

Nice looking bottle, the illustration is attractive. However, this is a red oil and almost all of the red oils have the same scent. I will be honest. I hate the red oils. The red dye used is so strong it will stain your clothing and possibly other surfaces. The only good thing about this oil is that it can be used as a base for Bat's Blood ink. Yes, the red dye used is so strong you can use it as ink. It actually looks like blood when you get it on your hands. If I were to ever purchase this oil again I would only use it as a base oil and add stuff to the bottle.

Link: https://www.wisdomproducts.com/product/6062

Score: With 1 being the lowest and 10 being the highest, I give this oil a 3. I only give it that high of a rating because it can be used as Bat's Blood Ink. I really hate the red oils.

However, I would state that if I was going to ever buy this again I would use it as a base oil and add ingredients to the bottle but I'm sure people use the oil as is.

7 Sisters Reviews

I've been asked by a few people to do reviews on various 7 Sisters products. Then someone on my other blog sent me an email and mentioned they too were looking for reviews on 7 Sisters. So I will start to do reviews on the individual 7 Sisters products I've used, the good, the bad, and the ugly.  Just so everyone is clear, I will only review it if it is something I have bought or have been given and actually used.

A Funeral, A Confession And A Plea

My grandmother's funeral was today. The viewing was yesterday. They did a real good job on her. We had a diner for the family first and then the actual service was only like 20 minutes and then a 5 minute service at the grave site. Pretty much all that was done at the grave site was the recitation of Psalm 23. It was real short. It was nice and not overly-emotional. In fact, in the family room prior to the service everyone was real loud.

Now for a confession. When my grandmother went into the hospital I petitioned Santa Muerte for her assistance. Now, all people online seem to know is that Santa Muerte is just for bringing back a man or to keep him faithful. In reality Santa Muerte is an excellent healer and can be petitioned for a wide range of things. So when my grandmother was taken off of life support and she didn't die but seemed to get better I just assumed that Santa Muerte had granted my request. I was even preparing to purchase the items I needed to keep my promise to her. Then my grandmother passed all of a sudden and it threw my whole family for a loop because we truly thought she was going to pull through. It was only in contemplation that I understand what Santa Muerte did. Santa Muerte knew it was her time. However, she knew that she couldn't take her soul at the time she was taken off of life support because it would be far too traumatic on the family. My uncle would spend the rest of his life thinking he killed his mother. It would not have been a peaceful death at all. So I believe Santa Muerte did what she did so that the family would not blame themselves. So for that I am thankful. I am thankful that Santa Muerte gave my grandmother a quick and peaceful death. My grandmother died right, which is what Santa Muerte is all about.

Now, my grandmother smoked for 50+ years. She was only 70 years old when she died. Smoking robbed her of 20-30 years of life. If you have a smoker in your life let them know they can transition over to electronic cigarettes. Trust me, from personal experience  I know the can do it. I smoked for 20+ years and I'm not going back. Electronic cigarettes do not produce the smoke and cancer-causing tar. Transitioning over to electronic cigarettes will save lives. So my plea for people is that if you have a smoker in your life to turn them on to electronic cigarettes. You don't have to be pushy like door-to-door religious people seeking to make converts out of them. I've turned on two people to them and I did it not because of pressure, but because I just told them how much I loved them and how cool it is. Even one of my clients has read a previous blog I wrote and then went out and bought a starter kit. So the way you do it is to let them know that an electronic cigarette can completely satisfy them as a normal cigarette would, minus there's no actual smoke, no cancer-causing tar, no ashes, butts, or ashtrays, no stained stained fingers, no stinky clothes, breath, and hair, and no more standing outside in the bitter cold and scorching heat. Additionally you can purchase a disposable e-cig and give it to them. Most smokers don't want to purchase a starter kit without knowing if they will like it or not. So by giving them a disposable it well help nudge them in the right direction. Let them know that if they like it they can buy a starter kit. Also, you might want to get a disposable that looks like a real cigarette. This will also serve to help them transition over the electronic cigarettes. Trust me, newbies always want something that looks like a cigarette at first and they always seem to go with tobacco flavored e-juices. In time they will move on to bigger modes and will experiment with other flavors. As far as recommendations,  I would recommend the Blu disposable. You can pick one up for about $10 at your local Walgreens. Also check out the gas stations in your area. The only thing is that it doesn't look like a cigarette. Njoy Kings are a disposable that looks exactly like a real cigarette but they do not last as long as Blu disposables. Here's a review of them below.

Now, you may be asking, "Why should I be forced to try to convince a smoker to transition to electronic cigarettes?". Well, the thing is that it's not hard at all. Most smokers know how bad smoking is. Most smokers have unsuccessfully tried to quit several times. The gum and patches don't work. The pills make you crazy. Electronic cigarettes are 100% just as satisfying as normal cigarettes, without all the horrible other stuff. Electronic cigarettes sell themselves. All you have to do is to give a person a small nudge and the e-cigs will sell themselves. Because I can tell you right now. If they had electronic cigarettes a few decades ago I'm pretty sure my grandmother, and several other relatives, would still be alive today. Save a life and turn someone on to electronic cigarettes.

Update On My Grandmother

My readers may know from my blog entries that my grandmother was in the hospital and was pretty bad. She passed away about 10 minutes ago. We really thought she was going to pull through. She was taken off of life support and did just fine. They moved her to a regular room. The only problem wast that she wasn't speaking and we assumed that perhaps she had a mini stroke. But we just got the call that she had passed about 10 minutes ago.

I want to thank my readers for their prayers and those of you who have sent me kind emails. I appreciate it. I'm very depressed at the moment because I, and my whole family, actually thought she was going to pull through.

Subject: My Review of my Reading

Good Afternoon All:
I am writing about my email from Doc and all I can say is that I was ANGRY! At first when I read my email only because I wanted closure to a situation BUT I wanted the closure on MY terms or MY way I wanted things to come to an end.
Doc's email reading was so very detailed and honest. Doc has given me hope and has provided me closure in my situation and how to move forward and also what to do when "people" start rearing their ugly heads again. I am step a head in this. I had a melt down this morning with God because of the reading (LOL) however, the Lord forgave me and I had to laugh about it.
Why because God has blessed me to come into contact with Doc and asked the questions that I needed to be answered. For me email readings work out for me better because I can always go back and look at it. When I can do a follow up reading in the future Doc and I can see together what has transpired since then.
I thank God for Doc for blessing me with taking my email and even working with me. I have clarity and insight on what I need to be done. I have email readings done before by some very good people and Doc's just confirmed so many things. Doc's email has also hit many nails on the head for my situation and all parties involved and I appreciated Doc for that. if you want the truth and will heed the advice given then Doc is your go to. Thank you Doc God bless you!

Weather....WTH?

I put away my portable heater and hung up my winter coat. Then the news came on tonight. Tomorrow's high will be in the mid 70s. Then at around 7pm an extremely strong cold front will come in with the chance of severe storms and tornadoes. This will be followed by snow and sleet with a low of 14 degrees and a high of Wednesday of 29 degrees. WTH? Spring, did you give up? Now I got to drag the heater and winter coat out again.

Sweet Brown The Celebrity

Okay, last year a video of a news segment went viral. Back in 2012 a woman named Sweet Brown was interviewed when her Oklahoma City apartment complex caught fire. All I can say is that Sweet Brown is a character and she became such a hit that the video went viral. Even Michelle Obama got in on the action. Here's the original below.

As you can probably tell the short interview became a hit with the online crowd. Several more fan vids were made, such as the ones below.

Well, don't anyone feel sorry for Sweet Brown because this interview has opened up a new career for her. She's now doing commercials! She also been interviewed several times.

I wish her and her family the best and am glad they can turn this negative incident into many positive opportunities.

Kith And Kin

Okay, this is a funny one. I was talking to a person on the phone about a potential dinner and I had to tell the person that it was going to be for kith and kin only. Now, I was real tired when I said that or otherwise I probably would not have worded it that way because the person was like, "What's a kith?". LOL

So for those who aren't use to Southern slang, kin are your blood relatives. Kith are the other people who are close to you, friends, neighbors, church members, whatever, the people you have a close bond with but aren't actually related to them. So, if a function is for kith and kin only, that means that no strangers can come and nobody can be bringing anyone whom the family doesn't know.

Carrie (2013)

I don't know about you but this trailer pissed me off. For one, that actress is far too pretty to play Carrie. Carrie needs to be plane Jane, an outcast and not a beautiful young girl with tousled hair. I'm so sick of Hollywood casting beautiful people to play plane Janes, outcasts, or nerds. Like that movie Monster. They just had to cast Charlize Theron and turn her ugly with make-up and special effect and not just cast a person whose looks fit the role. Second, there's no real indication of abuse that Carrie suffers in the trailer. By that I mean that we see 'things', but her voice is not the voice of a person who is truly so abused, shy, and timid. Sissy Spacek was brilliant in the original movie. She captured Carrie perfectly. This actress fails miserably, at least in the trailer. Third, I hate that Carrie masters her power before the prom scene. That just screws everything up. What made the original movie wonderful is Carrie not being in control until the prom scene when she flips out. By making her be in control of her powers it just ruins it.

When I first heard they were remaking the movie I was really excited. After seeing the trailer I won't be paying to see this move. If they weren't going to do it right, or at least aim for it, why even bother?

FYI: If you have yet to read the book, do. It's great and is different than the original movie.
