"Crossroads Rite" In New Movie And OKC Is Apparently The New Satanic Capital Of The U.S.

I saw At The Devil's Door last night and it was good. The story features a girl (Ashley Rickards of MTV's Awkward) who gets mixed up with a Satanist boy who then takes her to meet a scarier, older Satanist guy. She then makes a pack with Satan. The Satanist tells her to go to the crossroads and call out her name so that he (Satan) will know her name when he comes for her. This pact lets loose a chain reaction of evil. I thought the movie was really interesting. The movie is suspenseful and definitely keeps your interest. The ending is not so good and is far over-played.

Also, it seems we are getting another Satanic Black Mass here in Oklahoma City. We had our first one about 4 years ago. We've had a few others that didn't get much attention. Another one planned for September 21, 2014, is drawing International news because the Catholic Archdiocese of Oklahoma City sued the Satanic group over the theft of a consecrated host. The group wanted to use the host in the black mass but eventually returned it. The lawsuit was then dropped. The black mass will be open to the public but is not free. I actually would like to go just to see what it is they actually do. I wouldn't take part in any fashion though.

We still are supposed to be getting a Satanic monument put in downtown sometime in the future.

The Rising Trend In So-Called "Marine Spirits/Demons"

I'm very perplexed by this rising trend of the belief in marine spirits/demons by various Pentecostals and other denominations. I first came across this last year and I'm seeing more and more of it. It seems to have started in Africa and is now spreading across the world. For those who are not familiar with this belief system, believers claim that Satan's kingdom lies at the bottom of either the Pacific or Atlantic ocean (all this time I thought he was the prince of the powers of air). Believers claim that demons have built this vast, beautiful kingdom beneath the waves, probably similar to the one the Little Mermaid came from, and are using it as a base for world domination. Believers claim that these marine demons make pacts with witches and wizards to give them powers to be able to transform into a mermaid (I kid you not!), and similar to the medieval notion of the Devil giving men the power to transform into werewolves. These mermaid/merman witches are then able to travel to Neptune's, I mean, Satan's palace at the bottom of the sea and can breathe underwater. In fact, the geo-political system of this demonic underwater realm is so complex that there are even "marine queens", powerful witches who have been given dominion over territories of the ocean. Of course these sea demons are believed to possess people. So that's the story, their belief system. It's spreading and it doesn't show any sign of slowing down at this point. These people truly believe this is real and is happening. It's the modern underwater version of the witches' sabbat.

What really troubles me is that these types of Christians are right now teaching that Yemoja/Yemaya, Olokun, Mami Wata, La Sirene, Oshun/Ochun, River Mama, and similar water spirits of the African diaspora are in fact powerful marine demons and their worshipers are labeled as satanic witches possessed by marine demons. This could really develop into a dangerous situation in the future. It might explode into a new round of "Satanic Panic".

Here are a few videos so you know I'm not making this stuff up:

Now, there is some truth to what these Christians are preaching but it's a truth that eludes these Christians. The truth is that water spirits have a dark side. They have this dark side because it's the nature of water. Water can refresh and sustain and it can also take life via drowning. Over on my blog, The Demonical, I've documented several demons that were said to take the form of part-women, part-fish. Many of these female demons were baby-killers and were believed responsible for miscarriage, what we now call crib death or SIDS, infertility, and female problems. At least one of these mermaid demons is alleged to be the cause of migraines. So what we have her is not something new per say, but just a new take on this old belief system.

Abyzou

Alabasandria

Gello

Antuara

So how does this fit with hoodo/conjure work? Well, I can't speak to people transforming into mermaids or of a Satanic palace at the bottom of the ocean. What I do know is that witches, not Wiccans, can send various elemental spirits out to spiritually attack their "enemies" (innocent victims). When a water elemental is summoned by witches it tends to inflict these same types of problems on it's victims. A person under attack by a water elemental could begin to experience edema (swelling), water retention, lung problems such as pneumonia, emphysema and asthma, or simply inability to adequately breathe, emotional disturbances, insomnia and night terrors, problems urinating, problems with kidneys, and miscarriages, infertility and female reproductive problems. Theses symptoms would occur in conjunction with other signs that a water elemental spirit was at work. For example, if the air in the home is just outrageously humid when outside it's not humid, condensation dripping off the walls, ghostly wet foot prints, etc.

So I  thought I would blog on this to bring it to people's attention. On one hand it worries me because I fear that a new round of Satanic Panic can pop up. However, on the other hand I find it fascinating because this belief in marine demons is not new and is just as old, if not older, than Christianity itself.

Cursed (2012)

All across the world people believe they have been cursed. For some, their problems arose from acquiring a cursed object, breaking a taboo, or moving into a cursed home. For others, "voodoo"(hoodoo), witchcraft and Native American vengeance curses are to blame. The most unfortunate are those born into a family suffering a generational curse. The following series examines the lives of individuals who believe they've been cursed.

When It Comes To Candle Omens....Relax.

One of the things I've noticed is that some people are getting a bit carried away with regard to reading the omens after a candle burn. I know one woman mentioned to me that she pulled up a chair and studied the glass for about a hour, writing down details. I think that's a bit much. The glass is not a crystal ball. Omens should be picked up rather quickly. Below are some advice I would give on this matter.

1. The candle wants to openly communicate the omens. The candle will not be subtle, coy, tricky or even passive-aggressive. The candle omens are straightforward.

2. The candle omens are quick to pick up on and do not require a lengthy time to interpret.

3. The candle gives omens the entire time of the burn and not just at the end. For example, if you notice  that wax is building up heavily on the sides of a glass candle and then later on all of it melts and burns away, then this means that there will be further obstacles in the future but that the person will ultimately prevail and overcome them. If you only read the candle at the end then it would imply that it would be smooth sailing the entire way until the manifestation of the goal/desire which is not what the candle is actually communicating at all in this scenario.

5. When working with candles it's important to be able to switch back-and-forth between two different mind frames. An active mind frame is needed to push out one's desire into the universe so that it can be manifested into reality. However, to read the candle one needs to then switch to a passive or receptive state so that one can be able to perceive the omens. With practice the transitions between these two mind frames will become easier and will require little effort to achieve.

6. Not every omen is good. Not every omen is bad. For some reason I am seeing more and more of people who always interpret every candle omen as being good. So if your glass candle shatters and burns your house down, then that's really good because the candle is desperate to work for you! Likewise there are quite a few "Negative Nancies" out there who are very pessimistic and interpret everything in a negative light. Avoid an overly optimistic or pessimistic attitude. Choose a middle road between them. Be open to the good and the bad omens.

7. Not everyone is going to be unbiased enough to read the omens on their own candles. If after many, many failed tries one might wish to hire a worker to set candles for them and read the burn.

8. If all the omens happen to be negative set a second light for clarification.

9. Know your candles. Know where you burn them. If you are burning a new type of candle for the first time or are wanting to burn a candle in a new place, set a test light just to see how the candle burns. Some candles are poorly made and will often leave so-called negative omens but which aren't really negative omens because all of those same candles burn the same horrible way. Some locations are also poor choices to burn candles and may not have level surfaces or may be located next to a window or door where there are drafts.

10. Don't over think it and don't force it. If you don't see an image in left-over wax then don't try to force it or spend a lengthy time staring at it. An omen in the form of an image will jump out at you. The same with any images on the glass. There's no need to stare it down like you would a person in a blinking contest.

These are just some pointers. With time people should get the hang of it. Practice does make perfect and experience is the best teacher.

Natural Candle Snuffer

So I was at a new occult shop I discovered the other day and ended up buying quite a few things. I noticed that in the front case they had a bunch of Bur oak acorn cups. If you don't know, Bur oaks are perhaps the most gorgeous oak trees, in my opinion, and have the largest leaves and acorns of all the oaks. We had a Bur oak near the house I lived in as a teenager that was so big it would take 4 or 5 people to encircle the trunk. The limbs were all gnarly and twisted. It was gorgeous. Bur oak is perhaps my favorite tree, followed by large Mimosas and large Crape Myrtles.

So I asked the guy why he had these Bur oak cups and he chuckled and said he would throw one in with my purchase. He said it can be used as a natural candle snuffer. I thought that was a really creative use for one. Many Bur oak cups have a little twig or stem attached to it that can be used as a handle. Then only thing I would caution is that to make sure you have the flame centered because the cup may catch fire if you catch it on the edge of the cup. Other than that I don't see any problem using it. You might even want to attack a longer stick to it if you would like a longer handle.

Today Is The Last Day To Leave Your Comment For The FDA Over E-Cig Regulations

Today, August 8, 2014, is the deadline to leave your comment for the FDA regarding its proposed regulations of e-cigarettes. Not all of the proposed regulations are bad. Warning labels, child proof caps, list of ingredients, making the sell of e-cigs to minors illegal, are all good regulations. However, the FDA also wants to make manufacturers of any model produced after 2007 file an application on every single model of e-cig and flavor of e-liquid they sell. The application costs thousands of dollars each. Then the FDA will decide if they want the model or flavor of e-liquid on the market. My local vape store has claimed it would cost them over three million dollars to comply with this regulation. The sad truth is that manufacturers will not be able to pay this absurdly high application fees. The result of this regulation being implemented will be that all current models of e-cigs will disappear except the craptacular "cig-a-likes", the type of e-cigs that look like real cigarettes. These are not satisfying to most people. Additionally, vapers will be forced to buy pre-filled cartridges, something which is quite expensive to do. The result of these regulations will be the handing over of the industry to Big Tobacco. The FDA is playing directly into the hands of Big Tobacco. The mom and pop vape shops will not be able to afford the applications and will go out of business. Current vapers will return to smoking and this will lead to more instances of smoking-related diseases and death.

You do not have to be a vaper to leave a comment. Please do not think that if you don't vape then it's none of your business. You know smokers in your life. You know vapers in your life. People in your life will suffer and potentially die if the FDA is allowed to implement these regulations. Make your voice heard now!

Now Offering Crystal Ball Readings

I am now offering crystal ball readings. Crystal ball readings are powerful, take longer to both prepare for and give, as well are often more in-depth than a traditional reading. A crystal ball reading is $150 for one hour. Email readings are also available. It is strongly recommended that clients have a pen and paper to take notes as the information given in a scrying session involves imagery and is highly symbolic in nature. I will provide you with detailed information on what I see as well as give my interpretation of the imagery. If you would like to have a crystal ball reading then email me at MySecretHoodoo@mail.com

Now Offering Medium Sessions

I am now offering medium session. A medium session is for clients who wish communication with spirits who have crossed over to the other side. It is perfectly okay to schedule a medium reading with the hopes of communicating with a specific spirit but please keep in mind that such is not guaranteed. Any spirit can make contact during a medium session. A medium session is $150 for 30 minutes. Email sessions are also available. Clients are strongly recommended to have pen and paper available to take notes. If you would like to schedule a medium session simply email me at MySecretHoodoo@mail.com

Warning Concerning "Free To A Good Home" Animal Listings On Craigslist

I recently had to find a new home for a beloved dog who became violent toward my other dogs. After she viciously attacked one dog three times and another dog twice I realized that as a dog owner and animal lover I simply can not risk the safety and well being of my pets and risk keeping and having my other dogs hurt severely or killed. The strange thing is that she has never been aggressive or violent with humans. It's only other dogs that tick her off. Like many people I turned to Craigslist to hopefully find her a good home. I posted a "Free To A Good Home" listing. I was not prepared for what I recieved. Within and hour of the listing I received two emails from people warning me to ask for a "rehoming fee". The reason being is that dog fighters will scour Craigslist looking for free animals for dog fights. The animals usually end up severely maimed or are killed. On top of that there are perverts and sickos who scour Craigslist looking for animals to abuse, torture and kill. There have been several reported cases of people getting free animals (dogs and cats) off of Craigslist and then using them for target practice. There is also rumors that these animals may be used in medical testing but so far there is no real proof of such. Asking for a "rehoming fee" discourages this behavior as the disgusting perverts, sickos and abusers usually can't afford to buy animals and or don't want to bother with the hassle.

A rehoming fee can be whatever amount one wishes to ask for. If you have paid to have the animal be spayed or neutered, have shots, etc, then I would ask for a bit more money. I have since seen rehoming fees ranging from $30-$300, often time depending on the breed of the animal. Additionally, I would request to meet the people in person and even ask to see their home. Often time the shady characters will refuse to allow visits to the home and this is not a good sign. Also, if a person asks to have the rehoming fee waived it's also not a good sign either. Only the person giving away the animal should decide on their own whether or not they want to waive the fee. One more thing, I've been told that dog fighters will go as far as have their girlfriends or wives do the transaction under the belief that women seem more trusting. So if you are giving away an animal on Craigslist please ask for a rehoming fee and ask to meet the people and visit the home. You don't actually have to visit their home if you don't want to. What you are really looking to see is if they don't want you to see their home as that is usually a bad sign.

If you absolutely trust the person and know your pet will have a good life with them then you can waive the rehoming fee. However, if they ask for it to be waived then consider it to be a warning sign.

Flies, Gnats, Mosquitoes, Ants, And Fleas - Insect Swarms As Sign Of Witchcraft

A classic sign of witchcraft, and one that is rarely talked about online, is the onslaught of insects swarms. The usual culprits are flies, gnats, mosquitoes, ants and fleas. These tend to be the most common critters used today by witches. Bees, wasps and other insects were less frequently used. In the past locusts and other vermin were used to destroy crops and vegetation. Because of the current rise of bed bug infestations, I'm curious to learn if they have a connection to witchcraft but I have yet to hear from anyone regarding this. (Trust me. One of the best ways to royally screw some one's life up is to inflict them with a plague of bed bugs. It will drive them nuts and eventually force them to move if they can't get it under control.)

Now, when I mention witchcraft I do not mean Wiccans or modern self-styled witches. Instead, I am referring to old-school witches, evil doers who use so-called black magic against people. When potential clients contact me and claim they they think they are crossed up or under some type of curse and mention what's happening while including they've come under attack by bugs of some sort, then I'm usually worried. The inclusion of insects and bugs usually is indicative of a powerful practitioner being responsible. It's a sign of serious witchcraft at work. Unfortunately most people who contact me with such complains mistakenly believe that conjure workers, or any other practitioner of a magical tradition, are somehow bound to help them for free. So most of them refuse to pay to have it removed and all I can do is tell them "God Bless You". Deep inside I know they are probably going to have their life destroyed, if not outright die.

The key thing to determine is if any insect problem is natural or supernatural in origin. If you are having an insect problem and are not experiencing any of the classic indicators of being crossed up then you shouldn't worry about it. However, if you are having a run of bad luck, illness, stuff breaking, nightmares, fights, accidents, and say a plague of flies, ants or gnats in your home then rest assured that you are under spiritual attack. Below are some pointers.

Houseflies - If you have a swarm of houseflies in your home and can't identify why they are there, check to see if there is a dead animal or rotting food that is attracting them. Check to see if there is something just outside the door or window that would attract them. If nothing can be found to explain their presence then it might be witchcraft. When a swarm of houseflies are present in a case of witchcraft it tends to be very strong and dangerous.

Gnats - There many different types of gnats that can infest a house. The most common are fruit flies. You can identify them because they have a reddish or orange-ish color to them. They are attracted to fruit and sweet things left out. They like trash as well. To discourage them do not keep fruit lying out. Keep fruit in the fridge instead. Do not let trash set out too long. Keep your house tidy. Another type of gnat that is common found in the home are fungus gnats. They breed in the potting soil and can be a huge nuisance. Fungus gnats are black and can be identified by mainly hanging around your house plants. Fungus gnats can be controlled by letting the soil in your plants dry completely. Their offspring needs wet soil to live and if you let the soil dry out it will kill them. You can also replace a few inches of potting soil, removing it and disposing it, and replacing it with sand. This will rob the young of fungus gnats of a food source and they will starve. You can also simply re-pot any plants with new, sterile potting mixture. Two more common gnats are sewer flies and biting midges. Sewer flies are usually a sign that you have sewer problems, such as a back-up or break in the sewer line. Sewer flies are black and when they walk they walk in a zig-zag line, unlike the straight path that other gnats walk. Biting midges are perhaps the worse because they actually feed off of blood. Make sure you don't have any sources of open water for which they can breed in. The same with mosquitoes. A good remedy that will get rid of many gnats is to take a small cup and add a squirt of dish soap to it. Top it with an inch or so of apple cider vinegar. You can use white vinegar if that's all you have but you might want to add a drop of yellow or red food coloring as gnats tend to like those colors. Leave the cup out where you notice the gnats like to congregate. Gnats, especially fruit flies, are attracted to the smell of vinegar as it signals rotting fruit to them. They will land on the water to drink it. The inclusion of dish soap means the water no longer has the surface tension they need to support their weight and they will immediately fall through and drown. Keep the cup in the location for at least a week, if not longer. One time I had to use this trick to get rid of a fruit fly infestation. I left the cup out for 4 days. When I picked it up to inspect it there were 21 dead fruit flies in it. So it truly does work.

Ants - If your home is plagued with ants check to see what, if anything, is attracting them. Look for leftover food or dead things. If nothing can be found don't automatically jump to a witchcraft explanation. Normally, the tell that an ant infestation may be witchcraft is when they bite/sting people. So if you or someone in your house wakes up to ants crawling all over them and biting/stinging them then that would be the time to suspect witchcraft. Ants can usually be controlled with insecticide sprays.

Fleas - If your house has become infested with fleas and you don't have any pets nor any problems with mice or rodents then it might be witchcraft. Fleas can be controlled with a insecticide bomb or fogger. You will need to cover items and leave the home for a few hours.

Roaches -  Believe it or not, roaches rarely are associated with witchcraft. Usually roaches get severe in accordance with the cleanliness of the house. So it's usually filthy homes that get over run with roaches. Don't try to deal with roaches yourself. Hire a pest control company.

Bees/Wasps - Rarely associated with witchcraft. However, sometimes bee infestations can be associated with a spirit but it's usually not one that has been directed to attack anyone. There was a home in my area that I visited where bees had completely taken over a wall. You could hear them all buzzing away. It was real freaky. The family were poor and lived with it for years. The daughter lived in the room and I don't know how she wasn't driven crazy from the sound. No bees ever came out though. In that case I sensed there was a spirit but it wasn't really harmful nor was it directed to attack the family. The house was eventually torn down.

When insect problems are associated with spiritual attacks there is also usually a demon or evil/negative spirit involved. This would be one or more spirits the witch has invoked and sent out to attack you. I have to mention this because most people are simply not powerful enough to deal with this on their own. A professional should really be sought out to handle the situation. A very strong cleansing of the person(s) and home needs to be performed and a possible reversal work  or spiritual warfare with the witch might need to ensue. This would all be followed with very strong protection work

Deadline To Voice Your Opinions To The FDA Over E-Cigs

The deadline to voice your opinions on e-cigs is fast approaching. That deadline is August 8, 2014. As my readers may be aware, if the FDA's proposed regulation goes into effect it will in fact kill people. The FDA's plans play into the hands of the Tobacco industry, giving Big Tobacco companies complete control over e-cigs. If the FDA's regulations are implemented then the only form of e-cigs that will be allowed will be the "cig-a-likes", the ones that look like cigarettes. Many to most vapers are not satisfied with these products. If the regulations are implemented then it will drive vapers back to smoking and it will kill them.

You can submit your comment to the FDA for review. In your comment make sure to address the following:

-Your personal story of using e-cigs.
-How long/How much did you smoke?
-Have you quit or significantly reduced your smoking due to e-cigs?
-Have you used FDA approved smoking cessation products? What was your experience?
-What benefits have you noticed from vaping?
-Has your health improved by switching to e-cigs?
-Have flavors helped you quit smoking?
-What would you do if the proposed regulations were implemented?

Vintage Monday!

This commercial popped into my head the other day so I looked it up and found it on YouTube. This is one of the sexy commercials I remember from the 80s. It's funny because nothing in the video has anything to do with chocolate. However, I'm sure this commercial was  very successful. I can just see it now....

"Hey baby, what turns you on?"

"White chocolate" LOL

FYI: The singer is Mike Patton from Faith No More. He actually would sing this jingle at concerts!

Here are other versions:

Oh, and I had this song in my head the other day when I woke up....Strange.

Edit: I just found this parody video of the Nestle commercial:

Hilarious!
